LUISA SOLARTE
FOUNDER
Luisa Solarte is a professional career coach, specializing in career exploration, planning and decision-making for high school and university students. She is a professional coach trained by University of Miami and is a member of the International Coaching Federation. In addition to her formal training as a coach, Ms. Solarte brings to her practice more than 17 years of experience in career leadership programs involving executives and university students from around the world.
Ms. Solarte was Senior Director for International Recruitment to The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars, a Washington, D.C. organization that provides international students with field internships and exposure to a wide range of careers. In this role, she forged working partnerships with foreign governments, national and international foundations and higher education councils, gaining a worldwide scope of career choices and professional identity development. She has worked with some of the most prestigious universities in North, Central and South America, Europe and Asia, and is a strong believer that traveling and exposure to different cultures, new careers and professional opportunities will help young generations to understand how they will contribute to the world.
Moira Segrera earned her B.A. in Psychology at Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas, Venezuela. She has a master’s degree in Child/Teenage Psychology and a master’s degree in Eating Disorders from University of Paris (René Descartes), Paris, France. She entered the world of education to develop her passion for childhood and adolescence. She has been a psychologist and counselor in prestigious schools in Caracas, Venezuela.
When living in Paris, she worked in one of the largest French Public Companies (SNCF) assessing and providing career counseling for teenagers and university students. In these institutions she helped teenagers in their career orientation and supported children with learning difficulties, emotional and social needs. She also managed the marketing and communication department at Forest International School Paris, in Paris, France.
Moira has worked as a school psychologist and counselor in prestigious schools in Caracas, Venezuela, such as Santiago de León de Caracas, Andrés Bello Secondary School and Mititá pre-school, in France. For many years she was a Psychology Professor at Andrés Bello Catholic University and José Obrero University in Caracas, Venezuela. Besides her professional experience with children from kindergarten to university, she also worked in the human resources department at Venezolana de Cementos, where she participated in talent management and recruitment.
She is a proud mother of 5 girls, who constantly feed her fascination for human behavior and reinforce her commitment to help others in finding their own paths. She understands the challenges that parents face when raising children in the very demanding and competitive world we live in. She also dedicated some of her free time as a Parent Ambassador at the Avenues School in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
In the last 20 years she has lived in France, China and Brazil, which allowed her to acquire a wide view of the world and to be a fluent speaker in French, English, Portuguese besides her mother tongue, Spanish.
She currently lives in São Paulo, Brazil with her husband and daughters where she passionately practices and studies Pilates.
